I contributed a few posts to it and wound up catching the bug. So now I\u2019m starting a blog of my own here on the site of our gem, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hotelvieux-quebec.com\/\">H\u00f4tel Ch\u00e2teau Bellevue<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this first post, I decided I\u2019d tell you about what we\u2019re doing to improve the guest experience at Ch\u00e2teau Bellevue, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/H%C3%B4tel+Ch%C3%A2teau+Bellevue\/@46.8105588,-71.2061959,21z\/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x4cb895db83d66401:0xa40ed5d705a9e63c!8m2!3d46.8104831!4d-71.2061694?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">our cozy 47-room hotel&nbsp;with a beautiful view<\/a> (just like the name says) out over the St. Lawrence River on the edge of Parc des Gouverneurs in the heart of Old Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hotelvieux-quebec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/01_chambre.jpg\" alt=\"Chambres\" class=\"wp-image-2442\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At our hotels, we strive to make continuous improvements and provide service in the most authentic, personalized way we can. But how do you create an even closer connection between staff and guests at an already small hotel like Ch\u00e2teau Bellevue?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Working closely with our employees, we have identified a few points that may seem like small details, but will surely help us do an even better job expressing the distinctive personality and warm welcome our guests love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The actions suggested so far have to do with everything from the hotel layout to the choice of music and how we write notes to our guests. The main goal of these steps is to better support our employees and improve the quality of all interactions with and between guests. For instance, the breakfast area will be redesigned to be friendlier and more conducive to conversations between guests. We\u2019re going to add a bench along the bay window in the front of the hotel so guests can take full advantage of the gorgeous view. Although all employees are required to be in uniform, they can always accessorize to add a personal touch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hotelvieux-quebec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/02_espace_petit_dejeuner.jpg\" alt=\"D\u00e9jeuner\" class=\"wp-image-2444\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the changes we\u2019ve already made and those still to come, it takes everybody\u2019s cooperation to incorporate them into day-to-day operations. That\u2019s why our ongoing efforts to improve the guest experience are done as a team. The employees involved participate on a voluntary basis, which shows how interested and engaged they are in the process. Getting a good mix of people onboard is also important, because having different points of view fosters creativity. The members of the team come from various departments at Ch\u00e2teau Bellevue, and we even have two people from outside who work at our sister hotel, H\u00f4tel Ch\u00e2teau Laurier Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hotelvieux-quebec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/03_employe.jpg\" alt=\"Employ\u00e9s\" class=\"wp-image-2446\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The guest experience influences the perception customers will have of us before, during, and after their stay. Although there\u2019s no way to guarantee all our guests will always be completely satisfied, we believe that continuously watching, listening, assessing, and improving is the best way to succeed and to make Ch\u00e2teau Bellevue a place where people want to be.
